There are a number of ways that you can get involved in the charity work and volunteering that the FutureSense Foundation supports across the world.

Make a donation

The FutureSense Foundation is a registered charity and the community development programmes it supports rely on charitable donations from volunteers the generosity of others. By managing and coordinating charity fundraising activities, distributing grants and financial support, the Foundation helps to safeguard and expand sustainable international development.

Meaningful volunteering abroad

The FutureSense Foundation works in collaboration with GapGuru to provide a range of volunteer projects that contributes to community development in some of the poorest regions of the world. Career break voluntary work

Career breaks are becoming an increasingly popular option amongst working men and women. A career break abroad is a great opportunity to travel the world and by taking part in volunteer work overseas, you can do something worthwhile during your time off.

The FutureSense Foundation provides charity fundraising support for volunteer projects run by MondoChallenge in disadvantaged communities across the world. With opportunities to teach English abroad, volunteer in childcare, healthcare, business development and conservation, MondoChallenge allows you to make a difference during your career break.

Take on a group challenge

While the FutureSense Foundation is a charity fundraising organisation that supports long term, sustainable international development, there are opportunities for volunteers to make a positive impact in a short period of time by volunteering in a group.

We partner with Challenges Abroad to offer exciting group adventure travel that combines community development work with a physical challenge to create an unforgettable experience. As well as contributing directly to underprivileged communities, you can make your programme a charity challenge, and raise funds for the Foundation or another charity of your choice.

Volunteering for teachers

One of the core aims of the FutureSense Foundation’s charity work abroad is to improve access to and the quality of education for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Qualified teachers are unique in the skills and experience that they can offer and through volunteer work abroad, they can bring great value to our Education Grant Programme.

Travelling to Teach is a site designed specifically for qualified teachers and offers unique opportunities for volunteer teaching during school holidays and longer-term placements for sabbaticals and career breaks.
