Childcare at an Orphanage
Poverty, crime and disease can often hit children hardest, with neglect and abandonment prevalent in developing countries.
For any voluntary charity looking to make a positive impact in the long term, child welfare is a key area for community development.
The Foundation’s Child Welfare Support Programme helps orphans and other disadvantaged children living in slums or on the streets. Our charity volunteer work and child welfare grants help children to improve their prospects and escape from poor living conditions and abandonment.
Working in conjunction with FutureSense volunteers on the ground, this programme helps to provide teaching resources, health care, food and recreational activities for children in disadvantaged communities.
From orphanages in Tanzania and Romania to specialist centres for disabled children in India, your financial support and contribution as a volunteer abroad can make a real difference to child welfare overseas.
