In Ecuador, our charity volunteer work focuses on the plight of children from underprivileged backgrounds.
Our partners send gap year and career break volunteers to work on teaching, sports coaching, childcare and conservation projects in Quito, the Andean mountains and coastal Ecuador, where they support the international development aims of the FutureSense Foundation.

Teaching in Ecuador
Volunteers teaching in Ecuador work in primary and secondary schools, teaching English and assisting local teachers. Although Spanish is the spoken language, a grasp of English can improve the prospects of children growing up in areas where tourism is one of the major sources of income. As a volunteer teaching abroad you can improve children’s conversational English while revitalising their enthusiasm for education.
The Foundation also supports childcare volunteer projects, which provide residential care and recreational activities for neglected and orphaned children in Quito. This charity volunteer work is particularly worthwhile, as it provides care for children suffering from cancer and for those with parents in prison.
The FutureSense Foundation also helps to provide volunteers for sports coaching and conservation projects, which allow gap year and career break volunteers to pursue their personal interests in aid of a worthy cause.
